ATHLETICS               STUDENT                KOHLER PRIDE
Boys Basketball-
Varsity                         Conner Cassidy       Achievement
Going into the season, we knew that Conner could play defense but we found out how important his offense will be as well. On Friday night Conner’s 2nd half defense and his 13 points were key in helping the team to overcome a slow defensive start and beat St. Mary’s on Friday. Conner’s continual improvement on defense and providing timely offense will be one of the keys to the Blue Bombers reaching their goals this season.

Boys Basketball-JV       Brock Romanoski   Determination
Brock is a tough competitor who constantly brings energy to the team. His constancy and work ethic motivates his teammates to push themselves every day at practice. Brock was also the winner of our Competition Monday trophy, as voted by his peers, for being the toughest competitor on the court that day.

Boys Basketball-JV2     Grant Under             Commitment
Grant has emerged as one of the vocal leaders of this year’s team. He consistently works hard at practice and wants to be better. He makes his teammates better.

Girls Basketball-
Varsity                          Payton Schueller     Leadership
Payton took on the leadership responsibilities of organizing the girls for the open gyms in the offseason and leading drills/skills during the open gyms.  She has continued to assume additional responsibilities in leading the team such as playing an instrumental role in organizing the November 17th team activity as well as demonstrating leadership in each practice. Payton worked very diligently from the end of last season to the beginning of this season amassing more than 23,000 shots in preparation for the current season.

Girls Basketball-JV       Hailey Cole               Determination
Hailey has worked very diligently to overcome a pre-season hip injury that has allowed her to be at every practice while competing at a very high level.  This determination has allowed Hailey to take the skills she is learning in practice and demonstrate them in a game – in particular Hailey has worked on her offensive post game which has brought an added dimension to her offense and the team. Hailey is a physical post presence and has led the team in scoring on several occasions.
