Seven Kohler students attend the National History Day competition in Washington D.C.
Seven Kohler students traveled to College Park, Maryland near Washington, D.C. recently to compete in the final round of the National History Day Contest, an annual competition where students learn critical research skills and historical knowledge.
More than half a million middle and high school students participate in NHD annually. Students come from every state in the U.S., Washington, D.C., Guam, American Samoa, Puerto Rico, and international schools in China, Korea, and South Asia. Winners receive cash prizes, scholarships, recognition and valuable skills.
