Person in their 30s among three COVID-19 deaths since Friday

Percent positives in Sheboygan County were a very high 41.92% today with 223 new cases. Only one case was from KMCI. There are 890 active cases, and 26 hospitalized. Three more have died since October 16. One was in the 30-39 age group, two were 80+.

Sheboygan County will continue to have community testing through the WI National Guard this week Wednesday Oct 21 and Friday October 23 at the Sheboygan County Aging and Disability Resource Center in Sheboygan Falls. It is strongly recommended that you register ahead of time via COVID-19 Wisconsin Connect. Registration does not give you an appointment time, it simply speeds up the process at the testing site. Statewide, Wisconsin broke another state record for percent positive tests today at 34%. Hospitalizations and ICU admissions continue to climb, with 1,192 hospitalizations today, and 315 admitted to ICU.

Nationally, percent positives were up only slightly at 5.3%. Total U.S. deaths continue to climb, currently at 220,824.
