Many thanks to Kohler residents who have contributed $5 or more as a voluntary subscription offering for The Kohler Villager to help alleviate the cost of mailing the paper to each business and household in Kohler!
Not only has the cost of printing doubled this year, but a recent tariff on Canadian newsprint paper has increased production costs even more. Rather than charge a subscription fee like most other newspapers do, The Kohler Villager has absorbed the cost of postage in order to mail the paper free to each household and business in the Village. But that postage expense alone amounts to more than $4,000 per year (on top of printing and shipping expenses). As little as $5 per household covers the cost of postage to mail The Kohler Villager for the entire year.
As more and more print newspapers go under or move to digital-only format, Village residents (and advertisers) have made it known that they prefer The Kohler Villager in print.
Any who would still like to help offset the cost of mailing the print version may do so online via credit card or PayPal at kohlervillager.com/subscribe, or mail or drop off to The Kohler Villager, 219 Church St., Kohler, WI 53044. (Black drop box is located to the left of the front door).
Advertisers are always appreciated as well!
Thank you for supporting The Kohler Villager!
