McKenna and Riley Holzrichter with Mason Crosby.

McKenna and Riley Holzrichter hosted the 3rd annual “Out with the Old, In with the New” book drive this past January and February. This year they added a little twist by rewarding the classroom that collected the highest percentage of books with a pizza party lunch with Green Bay Packer’s kicker Mason Crosby. Kohler Elementary and middle school families donated over 6,500 books valued at over $16,000! These books were then collected and given to Books for Kids at the Next Door Foundation in Milwaukee. Books for Kids distributes the books to children in the inner city of Milwaukee who otherwise would not have books at home. In addition to thanking Mason Crosby for his time, McKenna and Riley want to thank Mrs. Greene and all the Kohler teachers and Kohler families for supporting the book drive as well as BW Papersystems Sheboygan for donating the boxes and fliers and Rita Gast of Shorewest Realty for donating the Pizza party! Finally, a special thank you to Jeff Romanoski of Sheboygan Chevrolet for helping us get Mason to visit Kohler School!!
