Officer Sass met with Kohler Corporate Security who turned over drug paraphernalia found at Riverbend. There are no suspects.
Chief Darin assisted a SCSD Deputy with a traffic stop at Chili’s where the driver was wanted on a felony warrant. Shortly thereafter, the Chief responded to I-43 at the Pigeon River for a crash with injuries. There were no Deputies in the immediate area. Deputies responded later and took over the investigation.
Chief Darin responded to the Gamestop parking lot at Deertrace where he recovered numerous used syringes. The dangerous items were properly secured and safely inventoried for later destruction.
Officer Schoch met with Kohler Corporate Security who turned over edible marijuana items recovered by housekeeping staff at the American Club. The items are legal in Illinois, but contraband in Wisconsin. The items were inventoried and will later be properly destroyed.
Officer Schoch and Orange Cross Paramedics assisted a resident who was injured when a refrigerator fell on him while he was attempting to move it.
Officer Schoch arrested and placed in jail a 32 year old Sheboygan woman at the Olive ‘n Ash tavern for misdemeanor bail jumping. Dispatch received a tip that the woman was out on bond for another criminal matter and as a condition of her bond was to maintain absolute sobriety. The woman admitted to drinking three glasses of wine, and knowing that she was prohibited from doing so.
Officer Gross and the Kohler Fire Department responded to the Home Depot store for a fire. No flames were observed, but light smoke was present near the ceiling. It appears that the cause is some sort of electrical failure and store employees were working on resolving the issue.
Officer Schmitz and the Kohler Fire Department responded to Hwy 23 and Woodland Rd for a bystander report of a car fire. Upon arrival it was determined that the car’s engine was merely overheating
