Kohler High School students recognized
New this year at Kohler High School is recognition of high school students who continue to make “Kohler Great” with “Kohler Pride.” Coaches and advisors choose the students, who must participate on either an athletic team or belong to an activities organization, or both. Recognized students are awarded with a T-shirt that says either “Kohler Student Athlete of the Week” or “Kohler Activities Student of the Week.”

Football Joseph Conklin Commitment
Joe has flourish under his role as a team captain. He has taken the responsibility to new heights. Joe volunteered to help at our KLC youth camp and has set the example of what a positive High School role model should act and how they hold themselves on the football field. Mr. Conklin is an athlete that never takes a play off. If you happen to watch Joe at practice and on game nights you will witness a young man who never takes a second off, he plays every play like it is his last player ever. The most impressive attribute that Joe has shown as a leader is his willingness to organize team building and making sure all of his teammates are able to make it to everything they need to be at. Joe is helping to bring three schools together to compete as one team. He has represented everything that this award is about.
Soccer Tyler Roeder Commitment
Tyler has come into the 2018 soccer season and exceeded all of our expectations with his performance thus far. Having no prior Varsity soccer experience his growth as a player has been extraordinary. He is, without a doubt, one of our most consistent players, always playing within his abilities and providing strong leadership on the field. He is committed to his own continuous improvement and can be counted on to help us be a better team. As a result, Tyler has not only started every game we have played this year, he has played more minutes than any other player on the team. Without him, we likely would have had a much more difficult start to our season!
Swim & Dive Elsie Kay Determination
Elsie came to the pool deck an excited diver. She has been asking for a dive team since her freshman year. Now that we have an awesome coach, she is able to finally dive! Not only has she worked her tail off learning dives, but she has practiced on her own time during open swim/pool times. She has also helped out at our meets with time splits, cheering on the swimmers, and being an integral part of our team. She does all of this with a genuine smile and dedication to the sport and team.
Tennis Clara Montes Achievement
Clara ran her season record to 12-3 with an easy 6-0 6-0 win over Kewaunee. The Senior is a leader on and off the court.
Volleyball Mallory Keller Achievement
Mallory Keller is being nominated for being a strong leader as one of our Varsity team captains and for contributing 14 kills and 3 aces in our first Big East Conference win this season against Elkhart Lake. For the season, she is leading the team in in total kills, attack percentage and total blocks.
