Kohler Fire Department helps battle Plymouth fire
The Kohler Fire Department was one of about a dozen departments from around the County called to a four-alarm fire in downtown Plymouth that broke out around 1:00 a.m. this morning. The apartments are in an old three-story building above some businesses.
Two residents suffered smoke inhalation, and one firefighter slipped and sustained a back injury. The latest media reports state that a mom is unaccounted for after she ran back into the building to rescue her kids, unaware that they were already evacuated.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
