Kohler boys soccer coach Rod Hogan said that after a somewhat inconsistent start, the varsity team has strengthened thru the season ending with a 18-2-0 record. They were the Big East Conference champions for the second year in a row, and are currently ranked #1 in the state for Division 4 in the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association poll.
The junior varsity team is playing strong as well. “Once again, we have really good player numbers and are fielding full rosters and schedules at both the Varsity and JV levels,” said Hogan. “The JV team is probably the strongest we have ever fielded and has compiled a record of 11-3-1 against a tough schedule.”
Post season play kicked off on Thursday, October 18 at Ebben Field. As of this printing, the results are unknown. If Kohler was the winner, they play the regional final on Saturday, October 20 at Ebben Field. Follow Kohler High School Boys Soccer on Facebook for the latest updates.
