Kacia is excited to announce that the boutique has donated five percent of September sales to the Houston Food Bank to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey.
Hurricane Harvey, a destructive Atlantic hurricane, made landfall in late August. In a four-day period, Houston and the surrounding areas received more than 40 inches (100 cm) of rain as the system slowly moved over eastern Texas, causing catastrophic flooding.
Owners Kim Schmidt and Kathy Nonhof felt like so many others, asking what they can do to help out in Texas. “We felt this would be one way to help out the many who were facing such devastation, we hope this donation will help out those who need it in Texas” said Schmidt.
