Four residents spoke at the October 15 Village Board hoping to be appointed to a vacancy left by Bruce Nowak. Through a voting process by Village Board members, Jason Kwacz was chosen to fill the vacancy.
Kwacz is an Engineering Manager for new product development of Kohler’s showering and bathing product line. Prior to that, he worked at Caterpillar Inc. for 15 years. He is also a president for a residential and commercial real estate investment company that he owns.
Kwacz has been a Village resident for three years and has two children at Kohler Elementary, ages 10 and 12.
Kwacz grew up on East Coast and Missouri. He has an Engineering degree from Missouri University of Science and Technology, and an MBA from Millikin university. He said he has a lot of experience before boards as well as with entrepreneurism and business ownership.
Kwacz said he wants to contribute back to the community and is interested in the various projects coming up, and improvements that can be made throughout the Village.
