Human Trafficking is not just an international problem, but is a domestic problem too. Human Trafficking is documented in all 72 counties in Wisconsin. This presentation covers what Human Trafficking is, who the victims are, who the traffickers are, who the customers are, and how traffickers are recruiting and obtaining the victims, as well as trends that are being seen and prevention tips. Human Trafficking is modern-day slavery and it is often referred to as the crime “in plain sight.” Traffickers use force, fraud, coercion, or use of drugs to lure victims and use them for labor or commercial sexual exploitation. Traffickers prey on victims who are vulnerable or who are in vulnerable situations. Victims range from newborns to elderly.

Join Sheboygan Police Department Detective Remington in a Community Service Awareness Presentation, Human Trafficking in Sheboygan City and County. Grace United Church of Christ is handicap accessible using the ramp and elevator lift in the front of the church. All are welcome.
