COVID-19 Realistic Statistics for 8/11

Sheboygan County: Since yesterday, 496 tests were returned with only 10 positive for a percentage of only 2.02%. The 20-29 group had the highest increase again at +4. Two more Census tracts in Sheboygan County are over 50 cases (see map at end of article).

Positive cases statewide are trending downward, though hospitalizations and deaths are up. But deaths and hospitalization trends tend to be about two weeks behind positive case trends, so if the state can continue to trend downward in positive cases, the deaths and hospitalizations should begin to trend downward as well.

Nationally, new cases and deaths appear to have been decreasing for the past few days between Aug. 7-10.
