Sheboygan County: Since yesterday, 435 tests were returned with 21 positive for a percentage of 4.83%, up significantly from yesterday’s 2.9%. There were increases in all age groups except 80+, with the 10-19 and 20-29 seeing the most increases at five each.
There are 19 active facility-wide cases being investigated. Seven are in long-term facilities including Pine Haven-Giddings Ave Campus, Pine Haven-Haven Drive Campus, Sheboygan Senior Community, Progressive Health Services, and Sunny Ridge. Eight investigations are at workplaces, three are classified as “other.”
Due to a shortage of COVID-19 tests, Advocate Aurora Health announced it will close all but one of its community testing sites in Wisconsin and stop testing some patients for COVID-19 before surgery.
