What’s in My Fridge

Stella Artois Main Stage

Friday, October 20 | 10–11am

Presenter: Ulrich Koberstein, Executive Chef, Sargento

Chefs are always asked what their favorite things are to cook. The answer always changes as existing recipes constantly evolve or new dishes are created, but some basic ingredients often remain the same. Executive Chef Ulrich Koberstein will take three basic ingredients and create recipes that taste uniquely different when they hit the table.

The Council Room

Friday, October 20 | Noon–1pm or 2-3pm

Join Hendrick’s Gin Brand Ambassador, Mattias Horseman, as he takes you on a voyage into the world of gin. This cocktail academy is a riveting introduction into the intricate process of producing Hendrick’s Gin. Following the description of the distillation process, a hands-on cocktail portion will tingle your taste buds with simple, yet delightful, Hendrick’s Gin cocktails. The pièce de rèsistance, a Hendrick’s Gin punch will cap off the seminar.

How Does Growing Herbs Translate Into Making Better Wine?

Breakthru Beverage Tasting Rooms at Inn on Woodlake

Saturday, October 21 | 5–6pm

Presenter: Sam Tesconi, Marketing Specialist, Quivira Vineyards and La Follette Wines

The life of a vineyard goes far deeper, literally and figuratively, than what we can observe. The vineyard, as a singular living organism, is very complex and interwoven with more elements than the lay observer typically detects. Learn how Quivira Vineyards uses nature’s own force and momentum to cultivate perpetual biodynamics which create richness and vitality on its entire estate, ultimately producing better-quality grapes and wine. Sam Tesconi, Marketing Specialist, Quivira Vineyards and LaFollette Wines, will walk you through a tasting of Quivira estate wines, demonstrating the value of holistic farming. Each guest will receive a jar of Quivira’s estate-grown herb salt with the tasting.

$39—Price includes tax and service fee.
